Classes / Certifications | Bumble and Bumble Styling 1 & 2, Razor Cutting, Style Your Career, Oribe Razor cutting.  All in salon classes with Goldwell Color, Oribe Styling / Cutting / Product Knowledge, Bumble and Bumble Styling / Product Knowledge 

Service Specialties | Short cuts are my specialty. I also love my curly women and men.  Tailoring a shape to not only the person but their lifestyle. Making blondes blonder, foils, double processes and finding the perfect shade for single palettes.

What I’m proud of | Being a hairstylist! Working at Joes has given me so much and I love what I do.  I strive to get to know my clients, listening to their needs / wants while communicating my vision to meet their expectations realistically. I aim to be consistent and deliver a beautiful cut and color every appointment.  

What I’m passionate about | My heart is in cutting hair… Finding the sculptural elements to cutting, softening lines, weight release, dry cutting… detail cutting is a very important component of my work.   You will find I do a lot of dry cutting before I shampoo so that I can see the way your hair naturally “lives” in your life.  It allows me see more clearly what is “working and not working” and adjust my cuts accordingly.  Having my cuts grow out well is definitely my goal.  

What inspires me | My clients always inspire me to push further and challenge my creativity. I am blessed to have amazing clients that make coming to work a great experience. Also my Joe’s Family are the most outstanding people and stylists… being surrounded by that standard at the salon is always inspiring. It’s so much fun to work in an environment of support, talent and laughter.  

Why I love Joe’s |  So many reasons!!!  Working in a beautiful salon surrounded by talented and caring artists I couldn’t ask for more. Our Joe’s cast of characters show each other so much love and we are always there to support and help each other. Karen is an amazing mentor and not only cares for us as people but gives us every opportunity to further our education and careers. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else!!!!    

Products | Oribe Mystify for that day 2,3 and beyond hair…  it freshens, relaxes bed head and also can be used as a heat protector.  I couldn’t live my life without the Oribe Gold Lust line, perfect for hair that needs extra moisture and love.
