What I’m proud of | I am proud of how far I have come in my career and all of the education I have taken. I am also proud of my travel and experiences that I’ve had.

What I’m Passionate About | Hair… Everything about it, but especially cutting and styling. Outside of work my passions are traveling, the Olympics, swimming and photography.

What Inspires Me | I always feel inspired when I get back from great education classes at the House of Bumble. I am also always inspired by traveling to different places in the world.

Why I Love Joe’s | Working at Joe’s allows me to grow in my career. We are like a big family, it makes it a place where I love to come to work each day.

Who Are My Heroes | Michael Phelps has been my hero since I was 11 years old. He is inspiring to see where hard work and dedication can get you.

I had my hair cut by Alexis and it was definitely one of the best cuts I’ve ever gotten. My hair is very thick and curly and I find most times after a cut I don’t like the way my hair falls or it is too short or the layers are awkward. I have no such complaints this time!

I have been to Joe’s three times since switching salons after a move, where I went regularly for 10 years, every 4 weeks. I was skeptical about finding another salon where I could achieve the specific shade of blonde that I had been colored with for the last decade. I was also concerned about growing out my bleached color for the first time. Alexis did fantastic job blending my color with foil highlights and finding a cool shade of blonde that complimented my natural color as my hair was growing out. She was also very helpful in suggesting product within my budget to repair damage done to my hair by years of competitive bodybuilding and restrictive diet. Joe’s is a very open. airy, fun and quiet environment that I very much enjoyed spending time in and I am happy to have found a new salon that feels as “homey” as my old one! I highly recommend Alexis for color – especially for blondes who are picky about their shade!
