Joe’s Salon is proud to announce a new line of ChristaLouise scarves. Each ChristaLouise creation has been meticulously handcrafted by village women in Mexico who have been taught the fine art of nuno felting. Nuno felting is an all-natural technique using only soap and water. Through a process of hand massage, the wool fibers are forced through the fabric where they interlock and fuse the fibers to one another. Due to the distinct touch of each woman’s hands, every garment is an original, one-of-a-kind creation. The scarves are perfect for the fall season: each being lightweight but still able to cover the shoulders if desired, making them great for an evening out.

Bumble and Bumble University
On July 19 and 20 Megan and I experienced our first Bumble and Bumble continuing education class. At BBU we were taught both round brush and flat brush blow dry techniques as well as in depth product knowledge of seven of Bumbles core products.
